Container Freight Station (CFS)
A port facility for loading and unloading containerized cargo to and from ships. Also called container terminal.
Less than Container Load (LCL)
Less than Container Load. A term used to describe the transportation of small ocean freight shipments not requiring the full capacity of an ocean container – Usually less than 20 CBM (cubic meters). A freight forwarder may create a “Consolidation” by putting together multiple LCL shipments.
Full Container Load (FCL)
FCL is an international ISO standard referring to one (full) container load (20” or 40”) containing cargo for one consignee (one importer). FCL shipping is the cheapest mode of transportation when importing from China.
Customs House Broker (CHB)
Customs broking or Customs brokerage is a profession that involves the "clearing" of goods through customs barriers for importers and exporters (usually businesses).

Warehousing Services
“Storage and warehousing” includes storage and warehousing services for goodsincluding liquids and gases but does not include any service provided for storage of agricultural produce or any service provided by a cold storage.
Marine & Air Cargo Insurance
An Insurance Policy that protects the buyer of a good being transported over water from the loss of that good. Most of the time either the buyer or the seller is required to purchase marine & air cargo insurance (or at least to assume the risk of transit); their specific agreement determines which one is responsible.
Import & Export Services
SOL is a licensed Customs House Broker (CHB) or Agent (CHA) in nearly all its own locations of operations, and have been in license for nearly 5 years.

Consolidation
We consolidate LCL cargos into FCL containers at our custom bonded warehouses and effect door deliveries up to consignees warehouses.
Tracking Of Shipment
We provide an updated status of shipment right from the time we receive documents and cargoes, details of planned vessel, ETA at destination, to help you keep a track of all your shipment. If desired by you, we can provide the same details to your buyers/consignee’s.
